Hello everyone.. Eventhough I'm so ill, it's the best thing to prepare an article for my blog.. I guess..
In this post, I want to introduce 'Balm Voyage Eyeshadow Palette' from The Balm Cosmetics. I had wanted to have this baby for so long.. But I waited for Valentine's Day. Because Gratis decrease the price of this palette at that time. I advice you to wait for sale times of shops. There is big difference of prices before and after sale. This product contains 16 eyeshadows and 3 lipstick/cream blush (you can use these creamy babies as lipstick or blush). Most of the eyeshadows are pearlescent.. Only 3 of them are matte ( B1, B3 and C3)..
The Balm is imported from U.S.A. to Turkey. It's famous for being paraben-free. As you know 'Bon Voyage' means 'Nice Trip/Journey' and this product's concept is a passport. So it's obvious why its name is 'Balm Voyage' :) There are a few country and city names on it. One of them is Istanbul <3
There is an useful mirror inside of its upper cover.. Also, you can easily carry this palette in your handbag..
They may cause dust while using. But all of the eyeshadows that I have used, have been like this :) I'm glad that their pigmentation is good. I cannot comment about their permanency. Because I always have MAC Painterly Paint Pot on my eye lids before I apply eyeshadows. This eye primer makes eyeshadows stay in place for long time. I use B1 and C1 as base eyeshadow; A1, D2 and D3 to highlight the inner corner of my eyes; A4 and B4 to make smokey eyes. I love having B4 ve C4 lower eyelashes.
When It comes to babies that you can use as a lipstick or blush: Second Officer is red, First Officer is solmon pink and lastly Captain is dark pink.. Their pigmentations are high. I didn't like them so much, because they dried my lips.. Maybe I should moustrize my lips first.. I couldn't have used them as blush. It may be because of my incompetence :)
There are some charts inside of the lower cover. They show how we can combine the eyeshadow colors..
I applied the colors only once on my arm .. Respectivly from left to right; A4, B4, C4, D4, A3, B3, C3, D3..
Again respectivly from left to right; A2, B2, C2, D2, A1, B1, C1 ve D1.
I hope this article will be useful :) If you are thinking about buying an eyeshadow palette, I advice you to get this one. Because the colors are functional, also it's easy to carry and apply..
